SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19: Basic knowledge on a novel pandemic
There is no disease threatening people more than COVID-19 these days. While infectious diseases are implemented in most curricula in life sciences and pharmacy, we are witnessing the evolution of a completely new viral disease, and the new knowledge increases from month to month. This online seminar provides a comprehensive overview on the basic knowledge of this novel viral disease regarding epidemiology, molecular biology, pathophysiology, immunology, and pharmacology (including natural products). The main target group of this lecture is broad and reaches from undergraduate, graduate and PhD students to postdocs and advanced group leaders, who are interested.
