GA has the pleasure in dedicating the Egon Stahl-Award 2008
with a gold medal to Prof.Dr. Max Wichtl in recognition of
his extraordinary lifework in the area of pharmaceutical
biology and natural products chemistry, of his outstanding
competence in and great impact on the development of German
and European herbal monographs and in particular of his
worldwide published books on Herbal Drugs and Herbal
